Downtown Racine is one of the Midwest’s most unique and vibrant lakefront communities. Make Downtown Racine your getaway destination for boating, dining, shopping, art, and fun! Its historic charm, boutiques, art galleries, international cuisine, and museums are just a few of the reasons why Downtown Racine is the place to see.

Downtown Racine is at its liveliest for First Fridays (April through December) and the annual Party on the Pavement (the last Saturday in September).

Other shopping areas in the City of Racine include West Racine, a center of the area's Danish heritage containing a pair of Kringle bakeries and several specialty shops; and Douglas Avenue, with a selection of local retailers and restaurants.

Regency Mall, at Green Bay Road and Durand Avenue, is anchored by nationally known anchor department stores and more. The surrounding shopping district includes specialty retailers and service providers.
