Racine's largest, and favorite, street festival is back! It's the 18th annual Party on the Pavement! Head to Downtown Racine from 12-7 p.m. for 12 city blocks of entertainment, live music, food and drinks, street performances, shopping, and games and rides!
Street perfomances include the Division BMX Stunt Team at 12:30, 2:00, 4:00 and 5:30pm. Sweatshop Movement, the hip hop and breakdance group, will perform dance battles and performances throughout the day at the corner of Wisconsin Ave and 6th Street.
Live music is always the big star at Party on the Pavement and this year is no exception! Bands performing include: Mean Jake, Chicken Grease, Rhythm Dugs, The Eddie Muniz Project, Nick Ramsey & The Family, Identity Crisis, Grooveline, Shelly Mack & The Reunion, Weird Science, and Lee Mayfield & Friends.
New this year is 5k Events' inaugural Pound the Pavement 5k! The run begins at Main Street & Sam Johnson Parkway promptly at 10am. Pre-register at https://poundthepavement.5k.run
Note that the Downtown portions of Main Street, Sixth Street and Wisconsin Avenue will be closed. Parking is free on city streets and $2 all day in all municipal parking ramps.
