The Shakespeare Urban Garden, located on the Racine Literacy Council property, is intended as a place of quiet reflection where an individual may see and feel the important connections among words, language and nature. The garden is divided into eight distinct areas - each with signage depicting the section's thematic plantings with relevant quotations. A colorful mural on a wall by the building was created by local artist Jerry Belland. The garden is open daily. Free.
