Virtual Las Posadas

Overview

Celebrated in Mexico and Central America, the tradition of Las Posadas recalls Mary and Joseph searching for lodging where Mary could give birth to Jesus. The tradition involves a procession from “inn” to “inn,” asking to be let in. With prayers and singing, the procession arrives at a house whose doors are opened for the travelers. A celebration ensues with food, fun, and song.

Join us for a virtual Las Posadas, with traditional songs, prayers for migrants, and holiday fun. Led by Claire Anderson and Verónica Esparza Ramírez, OP.
