Overview

Summer Art Camp: Lost Cities, Mystical Places, and Legendary Characters. Ages 7-13 Monday – Friday, August 1-5, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Dreams and reality collide! Mystical, magical lands exist in our imagination, in folklore, and in truth. From lost cities in the jungle, to undersea worlds, and mountains that are home to the Greek Gods, explore these myths and mysteries around the globe. Think Arcadia, Stonehenge, Xanadu, Shangri-La, Atlantis, El Dorado, Olympus, Camelot, Middle Earth, Asgard, Brigadoon, Tír na nÓg, Babylon, Wakanda, and more. And discover the famous (and somewhat infamous) characters who rose to stardom along the way. Using a multitude of materials, create your own version of magical spaces, out of this world places, and artwork unique to these stories and tales rooted in tradition and passed down from generation to generation. Dress for mess and bring a lunch and water bottle each day. Parents and family RAM Members will be invited to the annual Gallery Night on Friday, August 5 at 4:00 pm, to see the amazing art that was created throughout the week.
