Dialogue with Edouard Duval-Carrié: Process, Inspiration, Insight

Overview

Join RAM Curator of Exhibitions Lena Vigna for a free, virtual discussion with renowned artist Edouard Duval-Carrié at 6:00 pm CST on Thursday, June 30. Receive an intimate glimpse into the life and work of the internationally renowned artist, educator, and curator, then ask questions during a Q+A session after the discussion. One of Duval-Carrié’s works, Lost at Sea, is on loan to RAM through August 27 for the exhibition, Blurry Boundaries: Contemporary Artists, Imagination, and the Spaces Between. This enormous two-dimensional landscape addresses the propaganda of paradise, responding to the way historical imagery sometimes diminished cultural identity. This dialogue will be broadcast simultaneously via Zoom and Facebook Live. Registration for the Zoom meeting is available below. Simply click “Going” and enter your name, email address, and the number of people who will be watching. You will receive a confirmation email containing the Zoom link. Neither pre-registration nor a Facebook account is required to view the Facebook Live broadcast, but users with a Facebook account will be able to ask questions in the text chat. Generous support for this project provided by Art Bridges.
