Along the way, the trail visits such attractions as beaches, marinas, parks, the zoo, and museums as well as the downtown district. Quilts on Barns

Whether it's spotting barn quilts or simply exploring the scenic backgrounds, you'll find a surprise at every turn. This public art project has placed 28 colorful quilt patterns across Racine County. Wind Point Lighthouse

Wind Point Lighthouse

Built in 1880, the Wind Point Lighthouse, 4725 Lighthouse Dr., Wind Point, is the oldest and tallest working lighthouse on Lake Michigan. Walk around and enjoy spectacular lake views from the lighthouse grounds. The lighthouse is open for public tower climbs on the first Sunday from June through October. Reservations are recommended, but not required.
