The Lion, the Witch  and  the Wardrobe April 5 - 14

See Narnia come to life in “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” at the Racine Theatre Guild Friday, April 5 - Sunday, April 14. When an ordinary wardrobe transports Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy into the enchanted world of Narnia, they begin an adventure towards their destinies as rulers of the land. Trapped in eternal winter, they must battle the evil White Witch with the help of whimsical forest creatures and the great lion, Aslan, to reclaim Narnia. C.S. Racine Zoo's EGGstravaganza April 20


Gather the little ones and enjoy an Easter-themed day to put a little "spring" in your step! This hoppin' event will feature a hunt for 6 cluck-cluck doors throughout the Zoo to collect candy, photo with the Easter Bunny, fun crafts and yummy snacktivities, Easter Egg and Cookie Decorating, Trunk Hunt ("Easter Style" of Trunk-or-Treat) and more! Swingin' into Spring - A Night in the 1940s April 27

Don your best duds and stompers and get ready to travel back in time to the 1940s in Racine County at Swingin' Into Spring! Join the Racine Heritage Museum at Memorial Hall for this immersive event will feature WWII artifacts from the Museum’s collection, including rarely seen wartime products from local industry. Join over 20 galleries, studios, and shops to celebrate spring with the first of 2019’s Downtown Racine Art Walk (DRAW)!  New members, as well as old favorites, take part in welcoming you and showcasing a variety of local and nationally known artist’s work in a wide range of unexpected treasures. The last full weekend in April, the get bEHIND the aRTS Studio Tour offers three days filled with art––inviting guests to explore an entire weekend of creativity in Southeastern Wisconsin. Now in its ninth year, the self-guided tour allows access to 67 artists’ studios featuring over 100 creatives at 27 locations throughout Racine and Kenosha. Visual artists of all mediums and performing artists will again open their private workspaces for a rare, behind-the-scenes glimpse of their innovative and productive worlds. RAM 10th Annual International PEEPS Art Exhibition April 11 - 28

Within the pristine white walls of this award-winning contemporary art museum, RAM presents an untraditional exhibition showcasing fluffy, sugar-coated marshmallow PEEPS®. This spring, visitors to the show will discover artworks made with a variety of media. While the iconic seasonal candies are still the most common material, many of this year’s works are two-dimensional paintings and works on paper, as well as innovative 3D sculptures.
