The beach located directly north of North Beach and adjacent to the Racine County Zoo, informally called “Zoo Beach,” is a lakeshore beach, meaning the views are just as amazing as those offered at North Beach, but in a more passive setting. Our lakeshore beaches have limited recreational activity, with focus on enjoying the natural environment surrounding the lakeshore. Zoo Beach is perfect for swimming (unguarded), reading, or collecting beach glass.
