First-ever solo show for Racine artist Grace Verhaeghe, 91, who painted in relative obscurity at her Northwestern Avenue home from the 1960s through the late 1980s. These works (still-lifes, portraits, landscapes and abstractions) were rescued and will be available for purchase via silent auction on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Auction proceeds will benefit the Racine Arts Council's Main Gallery program and the Veterans Outreach Center.
The ArtSpace Gallery is open 12 to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Free.
