Join the Caledonia Historical Society in celebrating “Early Caledonia” a festival focused on Caledonia’s early days. Go back in time as you visit the historic buildings, including the 1877 Town Hall, the 1902 railroad depot, the 1840s log cabin and the Myers Museum (livery stable and blacksmith shop) all at the Caledonia Historical Park (next to Linwood Park), 7300 Five Mile Road. Enjoy a fun filled day of family entertainment complete with children’s activities.
Watch the Civil War Reenactments, the Saw Mill demonstrations and the blacksmith plying his trade. Partake of the various foods, and visit the vendors as you listen to the live music in the afternoon. Participate in an outdoor non-denominational church service Sunday morning.
Please join us for a celebration that reminds us that our history is who we are and who we will always be. Parking and admission are free although a $5.00 donation per vehicle is suggested
Festival hours are 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
