The practices of conscious breathing and mindfulness are intimately connected, and both are recommended by neuroscience and positive psychology to maintain brain health and overall well-being. We will discuss and practice some basic breathing techniques that reduce anxiety and manage stress. We will also explore how these link to mindfulness, and uncover the physical and psychological benefits of these exercises.
Facilitator Anne Kertz Kernion leads retreats and program relating to neuroscience, positive psychology, and spirituality.
