Visit the 1888 Bohemian Schoolhouse for our Annual Schoolhouse Open House, featuring a one-hour presentation by local Laura Ingalls Wilder specialist, Lynn Urban.

During this family friendly event, enjoy a variety of games and refreshments, while enjoying the historic schoolhouse. The Laura Ingalls Wilder program will begin at 2:00pm. The event is free, but donations are accepted and will help fund a new shake roof for the building.

Lynn Urban has been researching and presenting programs on Laura Ingalls Wilder for over 30 years at museums, libraries, and community events in Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota. She currently serves on the board of the Laura Ingalls Wilder Legacy and Research Association.

The 1888 Bohemian Schoolhouse is owned and operated by Racine Heritage Museum, which exists to preserve, celebrate and showcase the remarkable stories of the people of Racine County, and is supported in part by a generous allocation from Racine County.
