A very special evening of inspiring discussionl at Preservation Hall, 740 Lake Ave., Racine. Keynote speaker is internationally acclaimed poet Naomi Shihab Nye, and six other famous portraits subjects. Part of the "Famous" Portraits Art Project by local artist Deb Marett.

Additional speakers: Nick Demske (Racine poet), Timothy Westbrook (NYC fiber artist), Paul Willis (environmental writer, poet), Olu Sijuwade (non-violent confrontation counselor) Travis DuPriest (Racine author) and Thea Kovak (Milwaukee artist, teacher) will be sharing thoughts on making a difference in our everyday lives with our work and interactions.
