Take a little weekend trip back to the Jazz Age at Tribute to Bix Fest this Thursday through Sunday at the Racine Architect Hotel & Conference Center, 7111 Washington Ave., Mount Pleasant. This annual celebration of jazz legend Bix Beiderbecke and 1920s jazz includes a bus tour, live concerts, record swaps, jazz lecture and jam sessions. The activities are priced from $5 to $100. Chocolate, anyone? Head to Burlington on Saturday for great tastes at the annual Chocolate Extravaganza at Burlington High School, 400 McCanna Parkway. The area's best dessert cooks will be competing for honors in cakes, cookies, candy and cupcakes. Entries are welcome starting at 8 a.m. for $5 adults and $2 kids. A musical performance. The Choral Arts Society of Southeastern Wisconsin presents a program of traditional and new music at 7 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, 716 College Ave., Racine. Ideas for brides. Great wedding ideas are in store from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the 2016 Bridal Show at Roma Lodge, 7130 Spring St., Mount Pleasant. It runs from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
