One of the year's biggest music nights, Irish entertainment and the Waterford Expo are all on tap in Racine County this weekend. Real Racine has you covered.

Great music, great cause.  Take more than 50 bands on 15 stages in one evening and what do you get?  Thoughts for Food! This annual fundraiser for the Racine County Food Bank features great music at nightspots throughout Downtown Racine and in the River North area starting at 7 p.m. Saturday. Admission for the entire evening is $10 in advance or $15 at the door plus two nonperishable food items. On Friday, it's the Thoughts for Food All Ages Show, with seven bands, from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 316 Hamilton St. Admission to that show is $5 plus two nonperishable food items. See the Expo.  The Waterford Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to the Waterford Spring Expo from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Waterford Union High School, 100 Field Drive. You'll see dozens of exhibitors, including home improvement, landscaping, financial services, health and wellness and much more. There will be food and beverages from local vendors, a Kids Zone with face painting, basket raffles and fashion shows for bridal and prom wear. Go Irish! Celtic Night for Literacy promises great Irish food and entertainment this Friday at the Racine Architect Hotel and Conference Center, 7111 Washington Ave., Mount Pleasant. You'll get your dinner choice of corned beef/cabbage or cod followed by music and entertainment by Tallymoore, Irish Encounter and local Irish dancers. It all benefit the Racine Literacy Council. Purely Classical with RSO.  The Racine Symphony Orchestra (RSO) feature the music of the harpsichord performed by Francis Bedford, a UW-Parkside professor emeritus, this Sunday. Bedford will give a presentation about the concert repertoire starting at 2 p.m. followed by the concert at 3 p.m. It all takes place at the Francis Bedford Concert Hall on the UW-Parkside campus, 900 Wood Road, Somers. Soup time.  Fight local hunger and enjoy some great soup next Monday (March 7) at Empty Bowls 2016 at Festival Hall, 5 Fifth St. Just $15 gets you some delicious soup and bread made by top local chefs and you keep the decorated bowl. Soup to go is $10 and kids eat for $5. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner is 4 to 7 p.m.
