Steppin' out for St. Paddy. Head to Downtown Racine for bands, bagpipers, dancers and even a few leprechauns! The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade steps off at 12 noon from State and Main streets. Good eats. The 5th Annual Take a Taste Out of Crime has delicious samples of Wisconsin cheese, hot hors d'oeuvres, craft beers and wines. You'll also experience live music, raffles, silent auctions and an opportunity to see Packers great William Henderson. This fundraiser for Racine Neighborhood Watch runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Infusino's Banquet Hall, 3201 Rapids Drive. Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 at the door. PEEPS are back. Art is candy and candy is art at the 7th Annual International PEEPS Art Competition on exhibit starting Friday at the Racine Art Museum (RAM), 441 Main St. All of the amazing art works are made with PEEPS candies. Show for the kids. A tale about a dragon, a princess and a knight is set at the Racine Children's Theatre this weekend. For the earth. Ecofest Racine, a celebration of the environment, is set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Gateway Technical College campus, 1001 S. Main St. There are mini workshops on gardening, eco-friendly steps you can take in your home, cooking and sustainability. There are also kids' activities and a free gift for everyone. Free admission.
