Events and activities you won't want to miss in Racine County this month:
Racine Theatre Guild Presents: "On Golden Pond" January 10 - 26
Touching, funny, and warmly perceptive, “On Golden Pond” runs Friday, January 10 – Sunday, January 26 at the Racine Theatre Guild. Ethel and Norman Thayer have spent every summer over the last 48 years at their lake home on Golden Pond. This year is blanketed in melancholy from Norman’s failing memory and health until their daughter comes to visit. She brings her new fiancé’s son, Billy Ray Jr., to live with them. He and Norman form an unexpected bond in this beloved theatre classic. Click here for tickets and showtimes.

Watercolor Wisconsin throughout January
Now in its 53rd year, the exhibition was started in 1966 to honor the depth and breadth of watercolor in the State of Wisconsin. While Watercolor Wisconsin has necessarily changed in certain ways over the years, the core dedication to exploring aqueous media on a paper surface has not been modified. Contemporary artists bring both traditional and experimental approaches to the established guidelines—resulting in a varied and dynamic exhibition even this many years later.
