School's out, that means Racine County events are in full swing for the summer. Instead of hitting the books, let's talk about the only thing you'll have to do related to classes: studying this list and taking a field trip.

The Family Reunion Music Festival June 29
 

Dan Jam

The Family Reunion Music Festival (previously known as Dan Jam) is an annual family celebration of life and love of music. It's a fundraiser for the Racine Literacy Council and gathers food donations for the Racine County Food Bank. A variety of non-stop music and performances, kids games and family activities. Admission is $10 ($8 with two non-perishable food items.) Children ages 6 and younger, free. Each paid admission includes four food tickets and one drink ticket.

Honey Puffs

Ranked one of the area's favorite ethnic festivals, the Annual Greek Festival features authentic Greek food, pastry, wines, coffee bar, costumed dancers, cooking demonstrations, shopping - and don't forget the Loukoumades (honey puffs)! Church tours available.Gyros lunch from 11 a.m to 1:30 p.m. Friday.  Festival hours: 5 to 10 p.m. Friday; 12 to 10 p.m. Saturday; 12 to 7 p.m. Sunday.  Free parking and admission.

The Tall Ships are Coming to Racine's Harbor! Voted Chicago's "Best Tour and Charter Boat" in 2009, 2010 and 2012, the Red Witch comfortably seats groups up to 45 on this historic schooner and invites you to take your next voyage from the shores of Racine County now through September 30th. Pop Up Biergarten at Smolenski Park  June 27 - 29

Biergarten Smolenski Park

A 4-day Summer German-style Biergarten featuring Hofbrauhaus Bier from Munchen. This event will serve as a fundraiser for area non-profit partners. Enjoy German beer, US craft beer and cider along with sausage and pretzels in a beautiful park setting. Special Events include Mt. Pleasant Food Truck Rally-Thurs. June 27, Ceremonial Keg Tapping with Free Bier-Friday, June 28 noon, Stein Hoisting Contest-Friday Friday, June 28, Band-Vern & the Originals Friday, June 28, 5-9pm and a Corn Hole Tournament (Sat-Sun) June 28-29.
