Lost Bearings Corn Maze at Jellystone Campground Caledonia
Lost Bearings Corn Maze at Bear Paw Beach is a brand new 8-acre corn maze located in Caledonia, WI. This corn maze attraction is now open for the 2020 Fall season every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until November 1 with plenty of activities for the whole family. Activities include pedal bikes, jumping pillow, pumpkin patch, maze games, archery, Haunted Trail, and a nighttime flashlight maze. Find your way through acres of corn on an autumn afternoon, bring along a flashlight to experience the maze at night, or get spooked in our Haunted Trail! Relax by a campfire and experience all the best flavors fall has to offer at the onsite cafe, Eats & Treats, featuring hot cider, apple cider donuts, pumpkin lattes, funnel cakes, and more fall foods.
An exhilarating feature this year that makes us unique from other mazes; guests can destroy targets on one of four Apple Cannons. These are pressurized cannons that can shoot apples nearly 100mph and will send apples flying upwards of 500 feet. Tickets for Lost Bearings Corn Maze can be purchased in advance at www.bearpawbeach.com/cornmaze or upon arrival. The corn maze is located at Bear Paw Beach & Adventure Island at 10006 7 Mile Rd. Caledonia, WI 53108 and can be accessed from 7 Mile Rd.
Downtown Racine's Halloween Hunt Celebration
The Downtown Racine Corporation will host several fun Halloween themed activities from Oct. 17-31 including a scavenger hunt, trick or treating, and pumpkin decorating.
A self-guided Halloween themed scavenger hunt will provide family fun to answer questions based on spooky findings in store windows. Scavenger hunt forms can be downloaded at RacineDowntown.com or picked up at the Downtown Racine Corporation office (425 Main St.) beginning October 15. Completed forms can be dropped off to the DRC office and be entered to win one of three kid’s prize packs.
The annual Candy Crawl will take place on the weekends from Oct 17-31 to ensure smaller crowd sizes. Kids are encouraged to dress in costume and trick or treat at over 25 businesses from 11 am-4 pm on Oct 17, 18, 24, 25 or 31. The scavenger hunt map includes the Candy Crawl giveaway locations.
In addition, free small pumpkins and decorating kits will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis at The Maple Table (520 Main St.). Kids are encouraged to utilize the tables on Monument Square to complete their pumpkin creations.
Halloween Glow Drive-Thru and at the Racine Zoo
The Racine Zoo and Traditions Holiday Lighting and Seasonal Decor are partnering to host the 2020 Halloween Glow, an illuminated drive-through adventure. Halloween Glow will allow guests to enjoy an enchanting Halloween experience from the comfort of their own vehicle. Enter the Racine Zoo at the 200 Goold Street entrance gate and follow a dedicated lighted pathway through the Zoo. The light displays, with their ghostly charms, will be perfect for guests of all ages. This drive-through event will run a total of 20 nights between Oct. 7 and Nov. 1 from 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Wednesdays through Sundays.
Admission is only $5 per person and free for children ages two years and younger. Tickets are only available at the gate (cash and credit cards only). This is a drive-through only experience, no walking allowed. Click here to learn more.
