"Two weeks ago, my wife and I were taking a long weekend road trip from Indianapolis to Egg Harbor. On the way up, my SUV started acting up in Chicago. We got on the cell phone and found our way to Frank Boucher Chevrolet. The service department was open, but technicians were going home for (the) evening.
"Looked like we would be spending (the) night in Racine. We were initially disappointed, but then things started looking up. Karrey (salesman) had gone out of his way directing us to the dealership. Morry in service set us up at the Mariott - even offering to drive us there if necessary. Richard from (the) Mariott (a history and drama department teacher) picked us up in a Mariott shuttle van. He told us about a great Italian restaurant in your city - Dino’s - and made sure we had reservations. He dropped us off there, we had a great meal, got to meet Dino, his daughter and son-in-law, and had a great time. On the way back from (the) restaurant, Richard told us about Bendtsen’s Bakery. We had never heard of kringles, but wanted to try them. The next day (our) car was ready by 10 a.m. and we headed to Egg Harbor. On (the) way back from our trip we stopped back in Racine, and took a few kringles home to Indy.
"All in all, my wife and I were totally pleased with our layover in Racine. It is great to meet people who go above and beyond what is expected. Just thought you should know what great people you have in Racine. Have a great day." -- Gary
